Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours hazy amber with airy beige head. Clear aroma of rye malt, with touches of smoke, yeast, amd hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour with smoky notes and sour, grainy nuances. Bitter and mildly smoky aftertaste with sour notes. Okay but rather watery.

Rocky off white head on a cloudy reddish brown coloured body.
Bacon Fries, sweet & smoked aroma.
Medium bodied, smooth with a clean back.
Sweet, berry, Piggy, medicinal & aniseed tastes with a tangy finish.
Well my brewed - but not for me.

Very good. I could almost be in Bamberg. Yet again...

On tap at Beer Emporium, pours a clear light chestnut brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of toasted bready malt, smoked notes, and a hint of toasted nuts. Flavour has ashy smoke, bready malt, and some toasted nuts. Finishes quite bitter, with a smoky, bready finish. Pleasant enough but simply cannot compete with, say, a Bamberg rauchbier. Okay.

Keg at Moor Vaults 07/09/19. Smoked spice aroma. Hazy bloody orange. Thin creamy white head. Medium bitter with smoke throughout. Some sour tang. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat-average carbonation. Abrupt. Enjoyable stuff.
