A big IPA all about the juice; Slacks is a conscious effort on our part to aim for a 6% beer, but fill it with all the flavour intensity and body of one of our stronger IPAs. Hopped to the nines with 30kg of Enigma and Mosaic to bring all those stone fruit, papaya, and mango notes right up to the fore, Slacks is named for an in-joke from this year’s Polly’s Christmas party, where Arron – ever the fashionista – turned up in some let’s say, questionable slim fitting trousers (and we’ve never let him live it down since). Thankfully there is nothing questionable about this straight up murky juicebomb of a beer. Delicious.

440ml can Sophie's Beer Store. Misty gold appearance with white froth atop. Quite the fruity fellow this. Overripe mango & pineapple coming to the fore. Crisp bitter finish. Medium bodied. Fresh and juicy.

440ml can shared with Steinar at Piccadilly Pub. A filmy layer over a cloudy golden body. Clingy lacing. Promising tropical fruity flavours, mid-dry. Mango and orange to the taste buds, joined by bread-like malts and a yeasty touch. Bittersweet ending notes. Medium bodied. Pleasing without further excitements. (Bodø 29.06.2020).

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 22 May 2020) Hazy yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, tropical fruit, mango, grapefruit and pineapple. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of pineapple, mango, grapefruit, passion-fruit and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Fresh, juicy and really tasty. Very nice.

Can. An unclear golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of exotic fruits, hops, malt, and lemons. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrus fruits, hops, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Can. Hazy gold beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light malts with a nice light creamy sweetness. Hops bring a light crisp pine. Sweetish tropical fruits integrate well with the pine and there is mild but pleasing citrus. Light piney tropical finish with mango and a very mild Mosaic blueberry. Nicely done. Light but layered and complex and very quaffable.
