A big IPA all about the juice; Slacks is a conscious effort on our part to aim for a 6% beer, but fill it with all the flavour intensity and body of one of our stronger IPAs. Hopped to the nines with 30kg of Enigma and Mosaic to bring all those stone fruit, papaya, and mango notes right up to the fore, Slacks is named for an in-joke from this year’s Polly’s Christmas party, where Arron – ever the fashionista – turned up in some let’s say, questionable slim fitting trousers (and we’ve never let him live it down since). Thankfully there is nothing questionable about this straight up murky juicebomb of a beer. Delicious.

Pours hazy, milky yellowblonde. Small to medium white head. Scent is rich, citrus and tropical fruit. Mild danky undertone. All hops, but balanced nevertheless. Taste is quite full and creamy, again, all hops, but balanced. Minor bitterness, but it does provide. A sweet impression, very creamy base. Citrus, danky, and a bit tropical hops. Even though i think its slightly too sweet, and not bitter enough, the bitterness IS there, maling it a solid NEIPA these days.

Keg draught at the Real Ale Classroom, Stoneygate, Leicester. Light to middling gold, hazy with a small film of white head. Grassy, woody aroma, floral and citrus hops. Bittersweet taste, Loaded with hop but not quite overloaded. Pink grapefruit, nectarine, kumquat peel. Good thick body with low to medium carbonation. Sexy and delicious.

A light yellow and murky beer, a head is quite big and white. Aroma has pineapple, graoefruit, mango, hint of herbs, but despite of that fresh. Taste has pineapple, mango, kind of smooth fruits, not much citrus, some bitterness. Medium bodied. Tasteful, very fruity.
