Meet Dennis. Dennis loves stouts. Dennis also loves blueberries. In fact Dennis loves anything that fulfils his sweet tooth cravings. If your taste buds are anything like Dennis’ taste buds then they are in for a treat. We created a big, sweet stout using 10 different malts and if that wasn’t enough we then added blueberry puree, lemon zest and vanilla pods to make it one hell of a liquid dessert.

440ml can. Pours black with a stupidly thick tan head which never goes away, took an age to pour. Aroma is all lemon zest and malts, blueberry relatively subtle. Taste is sweet, much more blueberry (especially as it warmed up), lemon zest, malts, roast, a touch of chocolate, not sure I get any vanilla. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Yeah, good and bad elements, doesn't quite come together as well as you'd hope.

Can picked up from Electric Bear Brewery and Taproom consumed at home, Sunday 11th November 2018 whilst cooking Bobotie and also a Leek and Potato Soup for tomorrow. Pours black with a large creamy tan head. The nose is a touch on the plasticy, artificial side of things, it's not bad it's just a bit busy, a suggestion of sweetness to come and the suggestion of a lemon glazed blueberry muffins stout, yea that sort of captures things. It's fine but a tad messy. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.5
