This refreshing Saison combines barley and rye malts with an authentic Belgian yeast to bring you peppery, earthy and fruity notes on the palate.
Into this mix we have used a significant amount of citrusy hops which compliments the Belgian character of this beer.

Tap at Craft Room. Murky golden body, thick white head with medium retention. Nice saison aroma, dunk, spice, mild esters lightly grainy. Taste... Hmmm... Okay taste, but disappointing after the aroma, medium body, citric, slightly washed-out, just finishes dull and dry. Eeh, not bad but...

Cask, 5 % abv., shared with Finn at The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer. Pale golden body. Fair white head leaving spotty lacing behind. Ripe lemony smell. Taste profile of spiced lemon and yeasty fruitiness. Mid-tart fruity ending. Refreshing. (Bristol 29.04.2017).

330ml bottle. Hazy, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lacing, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Citrusy hoppy and funky, spicy and fruity yeasty aroma, notes of banana, pear, mirabelle, quince, unripe peach, hints of coriander, white pepper, banana leaf, lemon peel, minimally bready malty undertones. Taste is dry, tart-ish, fresh, citrusy hoppy and peppery spicy yeasty, notes of lemon peel, quince, unripe peach, white pepper, a touch of brine and mustard seed. Quite a bit underrated...

Keg at Red Ant, Barcelona on 19th Jan 2017. Misty light blonde body, white wispy head. Yeasty, spicy, peppery and dry: went very well with my noodles. Surprised to see a draft Hampshire beer in a Barcelona Noodle place, but there you go.

Keg at eebria. It pours cloudy gold with a thick white head. The aroma is funky, musty, farmyard, brett, must, creamy, old cheese and wood. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, woody, funk, earthy, spoiled nectarine, dirty peach, dirt, bread and straw with a dry finish. Medium body and soft, foamy carbonation. Decent farmhouse ale.

Keg at the Eebria tap room. A translucent golden yellow coloured pour with a a lasting sticky white head. Aroma is spicy citrus, earthy straw, slight stale grassy hop, stale grains. Flavour is composed of light grains straw, grainy, grassy hop, lowish saison yeast. Little bubble gum. Spicy hop lingers. Palate is composed of grainy rough grainy, spritzy carbonation, semi drying finish. . Meh.
