Tap at the brewery. Served from a stone mug. Golden-ish color with small white head. Aroma is earthy, bready. Taste is earthy, bitter, grainy, bready. Natural carbonation. An umcompromising Pils, I have to say, and uncommon for Franconia, where most beers focus on drinkability.

Bottle from a REWE in Bamberg. Clear gold in colour, with a lacy, white, head. Floral hops, some sweet, slightly creamy, malts and a touch of stone fruit before a decnet, bitter, finish. Good.

Tap at the brewery. Brilliant golden color with a fine head and slowly rising bubbles. Rich, malty nose, biscuit and bread, grass, apricots and oranges. Soft and fruity flavor, biscuits and honey, roanges and stewed peaches. Soft and silky. Perfect carbonation. Prickly hop . just a bit too sweet, but a good beer. More a helles than a pils.

Fra fat på bryggeripuben 10 Okt 14. Lys gyldenbrun. Frisk.

Poured fresh vom fass, 500ml shared with Finn at the brewpub. Bright golden coloured body. Decent white lacing-head. Bread and mid-sweet malty smell. Mild caramel taste with a little touch of butter followed by herbal hops. Soft carbonated. Well rounded palate, maybe a tad too sweet (Bamberg 10.10.2014).

Shared 500 ml swingtop bottle, thanks to gunnar who brought it fresh from Bamberg. ABV is 4.9%. Pale golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma with strong notes of grassy hops. Fairly crisp pilsener flavour, decent hops on a sufficient malty base. Might well buy again, if in need for a pilsener.
