One of the brews fermented in two small Islay whisky barrels, imparting aromas of maritime peat. The blend was refermented with golden caster sugar to produce a strong and dry beer.
Finally, it received a large dose of primings to produce a Champagne type carbonation.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Porter & Sons. Cloudy golden, big white head. Barnyard, lots of oak, whiskey, some peat, sour, lemon. Good.

Bottle, 750 ml shared with Max, Miro B and Zec at my 10k tasting. Cloudy golden orange with large white head. Very funky, citric, juicy, medium cabination, barnyard. Juicy. Light smoke, wooden notes. Medium sourness.

Bottle via the brewery. It opens with a massive pop and pours hazy bright orangey - deep gold with a thick, fluffy head. The aroma is deep dry funk, hay, mellow medicinal smokey vibes, kippers (but in a good way), distant bonfire, leather, white wine, gooseberry crumble, light vanilla, lemon, lime sherbet, love heart sweets and refreshers. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, puckering, nip of acidity, minerality, white grape, gooseberry, melon, lemon sherbet, oak, Islay whisky barrels not as pronounced as on the snout, more of a dull earthy smokey note, sherbet dib dab, refreshers and very little of that 9% alcohol. Medium body and high, effervescent carbonation. A very classy and we'll executed number. For me the Islay is not overdone and integrates well. Tasty.

Bottle. Thanks to SirAlex. Pours hazy Golden with a White head. Islay on top and underneath. Leather, peat and funk. Champagne, White Wine and funk. Dry finish. It is not for me. But I see why some may dig it.

Bottle. Mills online shop. Hazed, medium orange amber colour. Fine streams of bubbles make for a long lived, lively, just off white head. Nose has light peaty oak. Lemon verbena. Fruit loaf. Brand new suede slippers, like properly box fresh. Taste is sharp and lemony. Feels a little saline. Super clean, oaky, dry and bitter. Lively and brisk on the palate, with no trace of the 9%. High, foamy carbonation is Champagne like. Dry and tart on the finish. Mills doing their thing.
