750 ml green waxed bottle, as Wild Beer After Oak BA Wild Belgian Ale, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.2%. Slightly hazy golden to orange colour, small white head. Aroma of funk, farmhouse / brettanomyces, honey melons, flowers and honey. The flavour is moderately sour, notes of melons and honey again, but the beer is not very sweet. Hints of oranges and tangerines, also discrete hints of oak, dry finish, low bitterness.

Bottle. Wild Beer online. Misty dark gold. Lovely dense white and sticky white foam. Nose has soft brett. Brushed suede. Spicy rye. Fresh cut oak. Some lemon. Taste is pretty sweet, with a bretty, lemon peel bitterness. Smooth but crisp mouthfeel. Fine carbonation. Lemon rind and oaky shenanigans to finish. Fucking Alzheimer’s conversations put paid to beer rates big style.

Orange-copper beer with small white rim. - 1 point for the silly wax. Fruity, woody, wet wood, peach-y, muscatgrapes. Dry, mild sour, hint at mould. Dried fruit without the sugars. Again old wet wood, tannines. Light, but not lean. Wood keeps coming throughout.Difficult to qualify, but the quality is undisputable. Txs to Stef!

Draught @ Mig & Ølsnedkeren. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, light sourness, oak, sweet and tart fruit, orange, lime, plum. Flavor is lightly sour, tart, malt, wood, oak, fruity, plum, orange. Medium body, soft to average carbonation, dry and light acidic finish. 091021

Clear orange, small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of plum, gooseberry, apricot, lime, wood, pineapple, white sugar. Taste has sour sorrel & rhubarb, sweet apricot & plum lending a sugary effect, bit lactic. Tart, woody, low hoppy finish, lingering yellow fruit, bit oddly bitter. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Good but weird mix of sweet & sour.

Bottle from the brewery online shop. Pours just hazy golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light citrus, melon, light sourness. Taste is light oak, sweet grapefruit, light sour. Lovely balanced finish.
