Hazy dark brown, thin, tan head. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla, green apple (acetaldehyde), date, biscuit, banana, fudge. Taste has very sweet date, fig & pear in a caramelly malt body, bit biscuity with even a note of milk chocolate and a herbal-spicy edge. Herbal hoppy finish, dried fruits, fudge, touch vanilla thanks to the heating bourbon alcohol (or rye whiskey for that matter). Full body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation. Even more delicious than the Double Oaked version.

Pours dark, rather clear brown. Scent is full, dried fruits and other BW aspects. Barrel is mild. Taste is full, sweet, loads of dried fruits. Barrel is mild. Works quite well ! Lovely BW

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: malty, alcohol, good roast, caramel, nice stuff, bit oxidized, bit yeasty, lots of whiskey, barrel wood. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, oxidized, alcohol, caramel, more oxidative notes. Aftertaste: oxidized, alcohol, lots of alcohol, bit sugary, bourbon, good stuff!
Lovely rye whiskey sweet and spice toffee.

22oz bottle pours out brown topped with a small head. Nose is booze sweet caramel toffee malts rye spice. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts caramel toffee rich barrel booze notes.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with small beige head. The aroma is strong caramel, bourbon, dark fruit, fig. Slick body, similar flavors to nose, boozy, very good.
