On the nose the elegant aroma of coffee is accompanied by notes of oak.
In the mouth an intense aromatic experience released by the extraordinary union of cocoa mass, New Zealand hops and roasted malts. A strong note of cocoa, softened by a hint of blackberry, envelops the palate and then leaves room for notes of roasted coffee.
Slow and intense finish, with a soft and pungent structure at the same time.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours black, with fluffy light brown foam, very fine. Aroma is of coffee, roasted malt. Body is slightly dense, with average, tickling carbonation. Taste is moderately bitter, roasty, with limited sweetness. Final is average.

Bottle. Pours almost black with a huge frothy head. Aroma is dark malts, cacao with interesting notes. Really interesting cacao-intense aroma. Medium body. Flavour is dark malts, some cacao, dark malts. Finish is very dry, cacao. Flavour is a bit disappointing versus aroma though. Flavour is too dry and not interesting enough. Still a rather interesting beer with loads of cacao.

bottiglia 33 cl, 6.7% Vol, bel cappello di schiuma media grana cappuccino persistente, colore marrone intenso nero, al naso liquirizia cacao caffè caramello vaniglia, in bocca caffè caramello cioccolato al latte, corpo medio, watery, carbonazione forte, amaro moderato. Buona equilibrata, facile da bere ma troppo troppo carbonata per lo stile. c. Cantina della Birra 05.12.20
