Murky brown with little white head. Aroma is green apple peel, wood, fruits, nuts. Taste is sour and a good body of chocolatey sweetness, and the complementing bitterness. Slightly phenolic. Good mouthfeel, well carbonated. Nice.

Many thanks for this bottle to kevnic2008. Rubinowo brazowy kolor, zapach sliwek lekko podfermentowanych. W smaku kwaskowosc i chlebowa skorka.

This dunkel is very, very sweet in both aroma and taste, taste bordering on chocolatey. Color is deep, dark brown with minimal head. Sweetness is a little alarming at first (for a dunkel) and gets more cloying as you get through this. I was really expecting much better.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Rubyish brown colour with a mediumsized off-white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is mild roasted malts, some slight chocolate, mild ashes and raisins as well. Flavour is quite similar with the roasted notes coming in quite well. Smooth palate and quite bodied beer, which makes it rather drinkable.

The bottle looks a bit complex, but good. Beer in the glass not too zippy, small head. Starts malty and dry, a bit sourish, fruity like plums. Finish milder, still sourish. Tastes more like 4.8% ABV than 5.6%. Drinkable and not bad!

A dark ruby red brown beer with a thin moka head. Aroma of molasse, dark fruits, raisins, vinous, porto. In mouth, a light dark malt with maderized notes, light fruitiness. Past its prime, sadly. BB Jan 2008. Bottle shared with Probstk, July 29 2009.
