Dunkler Bernstein im Glas. Schaumentwicklung OK.

Sehr schwache herbale Hopfenherbe. Milder rezent, hefig weich. (11.10.2019.)

Orange brown color. Where is the aroma? Just some vague malty and biscuit notes. The flavor is much better. Malty sweetish with chocolate cookies and caramel. Likeable.

Auburn with a creamy head that lingers. Aroma full of grains, ash and (faint) chocolate. Taste is mildly bitter, grainy, with sweet dark bread undertones and a subtle apple tang. Despite all that—simple. Medium body, texture lightly watery. Okay.

0.5l bottle. Dark orange body with a quickly disappearing white head. Aroma and taste of bread, orange zest, some apples and a bit of toast and dark sugar. Enjoyable dunkel.

Hazy brown color with tan head. Aroma is green apple skin, some maltiness. Taste is green apples, malty, some milky yeasts. Low carbonation. I don’t know if the green apple flavour was intended, but I like green apples :P

Bottle. Grey-brown, offwhite lace. Rural, earthy mineralic nose. Medium body, foamy, chewy. Light nutty, doughy finish. Need to retry.
