Bottle shared at the brewery. One of the very few instances I find something underwhelming from Cantillon. It's not by far bad but doesn't really show anything extraordinary either, nor something that I couldn't pick up on during the multi-bottle long tasting. It's pleasantly fruity and nicely funky, but either the wine used for the blend wasn't exciting enough or my palate was wrecked at this point. Probably the latter but until a possible revisit it is what it is now.

Bottle at Cantillon thanks to Sarky. Pours clear golden with a thin off white head that fades to clinging to the glass. Aroma is light oak, funk, white grape. Taste is oak, sweet green apple, white grape, hint of caramel. Dry sweet finish. Different!

Bottle at the loon factory. Hazed gold. Barely a head. Nose has a light white wine vinegar thing first up. Some raisin. Light oak. Bright yeasty funk. Taste is pretty sweet and honeyed. Light tartness. Soft acidity with low-ish carbonation. Dry tart finish.

Bottle shared at cantillion for Rich's 50th. A clear bright golden coloured pour with a halo of loose white head. Aroma is semi sweet, light funk, caramel, delicate funk, green apple,. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, green apple, tangy, caramel, hint of vanilla, mellow tang, funk. Palate is semi sweet, light tang, mellow carbonation.

[2/17/23] Bottle at Cantillon in Brussels. Golden. White wine, barnyard, moderately sour, oak. Great.

28.05.2022: 0,15l from bottle shared at Arrogant Sour Festival 2022. Yellow hazy color small white head. Smells earthy, grassy, oak, peppery, bit peppery. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes herbal, earthy, grassy, peppery, bit nutty, oak, bit lactic. Finishes dry and medium sour with notes of grass, earthy and peppery notes. Decent one, drinkable but not a favorite

24.08.2022: 0,75l from bottle at Moeder Lambic Original. yellow coat color, small white head. Smells grapes, funky, vinous, lovely smell. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes earthy, grassy, vinous, minerals, peppery, bit lactic. Finishes dry and light to medium sour with notes of vinous notes, minerals and lactic notes. Nice to very nice one, tad lactic, but very good stuff.
