Bräu z'Loh Märzen, jetzt mit 5,2 %, Flasche von Ambrosetti. - Schönes Rotgold, klar. - In der Nase kernig gerstiges, warm nussig-karamelliges Malz und recht solide hopfenwürzige Hintergrundhopfung. - Antrunk satt gerstig karamelmalzig, erfreulich wenig süß (trotz zarter Honignote) und solide hopfenwürzig herb mit Bitterorange. Milder rezent, fein mineralisch. Im Abgang leicht trocken und kräftig orangenbitter-hopfenherb, wobei die Bittere etwas leer wirkt und eine ranzige Note hinzutritt. - Solides, gut gerstiges und unerwartet kräftig gehopftes Märzen. Sauber, trotz kleiner aromatischer Schwächen. (21.1.2024.)

Bottle picked up from the brewery online Webshop and consumed at home, Wednesday 17th February 2021 listening to Marc Riley on 6Music, we had Mushroom Risotto for tea. Pours amber, good clarity, really very, very soft moutheel. A little background metallic, slight sweet edge, caramel adding to the proceedings. Pleasant.

Bottle. Grainy, cookie aroma. Golden, low head. Medium body, dry grassy hops on a bready base,dry on the palate, dry herb and wild berry on cracker finish.

Hazy amber color with white head. Aroma is sweet berries, caramel, Munich malts, buttery. Taste is the same. Medium carbonation. Quite boring. Meh.

Bottled at TEJA tasting. Hazy golden, small head. Fruity, doughy nose. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and bready, hints of boiled vegetables. Mid bitter finish.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, leicht fruchtig, würzig. Geschmack malzig würzig, leicht fruchtig, minimale Bitterkeit.

Herb-malziger Antrunk. Etwas herber werdend, wenig hopfig. Gleichzeitig steigt die Bitterkeit, trocken, hell. Hell brotiges Ende. 9/8/8/8/11/8

Bottle: Clear, deep golden, stable and creamy white layer, sweet grainy nose with a slight caramelly touch, shy herbal hops underneath; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, hardly medium bodied; sweet grainy finish with a slightly increasing bitterness in the aftertaste. Brave brew, absolutely not exciting…
