Burrow is born out of our experience brewing and drinking Dwell, our go to American Pale Ale. Both beers are hopped exclusively with Mosaic and Motueka, a combo we find work very well in concert, whether on a lighter beer like Dwell, or a bigger, yet drinkable, beer like Burrow.

Pours a hazy, gold-orange-pineapple with mid-sized head. Aroma is tropical fruit and citrus, with some light spice. Flavors follow. Very soft mouthfeel. Mild hop bitterness in the finish. This is a very good beer.

Canned 2/8/23, drunk 3/10/23. Heavily hazy, bright pineapple-copper-maize-golden. Medium-sized, white head fades steadily to spotty cover and ring. Juicy clementine, lightly sweet sauv blanc and soft, white bread and honey-like malts are all quite delicate for the size. There's no sign of scallion from the Mosaic. Clean and with some rustic grain. No alcohol, flaw or resin. Soft, juicy, big malt texture but good attenuation. Clementine, passion fruit, sweet sauvignon blanc with mango and lots of white bread-like malt character. Maybe pushing it slightly on the sweetness and could use more bitterness, but it's super clean and juicy with excellent, complex flavors. Pineapple, clementine, spicy mosaic notes lingering.

Pours hazy mango into a shaker. Bright white conglomerate head with good retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Sweet mango and tangerine aromas. Thick with sweet lychee and golden syrup upfront turning to hot caramel and dried mango in the lasting finish. Tasty.

Can (7/7/21) pour from the brewery. It's an opaque dark yellow with thin cap of off-white head with fair retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong citrus, grape, candied fruit. Taste is strong grape and candied fruit. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation, and finish as taste. Overall, strong aroma and flavor and decent complexity. Nice.
