bottle from Tavour that I saved for Christmas. Another lovely imperial from Anchorage - a style they have mastered. Sweeter, but good

Bottle shared by Chris & Kelley at the November 22 P.S. tasting, 11/12/22. Black, small head. Lots of sediment on the side of the glass. Aroma of dark chocolate, peppers, booze, honey. Taste is pepper, raisin, chocolate, roast. Full bodied, hot. Kind of a mess.

Bottle. Wouldn't even pour until i broke up the plug, then came outv thick andc chunky. Opaque black, filthy big bubble head, globs of black shit everywhere. Aroma is actually nice, bourbon, espresso, mocha, coconut. Flavor is medium plus sweet, medium bitter, a bit of heat just comes across as harshness, astringent and super bitter finish. Mouthfeel is borderline gross. Boogers and milkshake. How the fuck is this getting good ratings. I really didn't want to dump this after what i paid, but it's fucken gross.

Bottle. Pours a chunky, sludgy black with a frothy dark brown head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a nice coconut and chocolate combination with a bit of coffee and a light chili underlying. Flavor has the same nice chocolate and coconut combination with light chili and a chocolatey finish. Very sludgy/chunky.
