Can from Gedeelde Vreugde. Hazy dark brown-blackish, thin, beige head. Aroma of brown sugar, caramel candy, mocha, cappuccino, vanilla cream, pear syrup, date, candied plum, milk chocolate. Taste has very sweet date, fig & pear in a thick milk-chocolatey, brown-sugary, sugared-nutty malt body with a sugared coffee element on the side. Herbal hoppy finish, lingering toffee, sugared espresso and warming coffee liqueur-like alcohol. Full body, oily-sticky texture, soft carbonation. Way too sweet fo a coffee-flavoured Brown Ale but just so intense and tasteful... Glad to sip.

22/1/2022. Can from Stoneworks, Peterborough, shared with SHIG on the train ride home after a very enjoyable day trip. Pours very dark brown with a small frothy beige head. Aroma of toffee, nut, liquorice, vanilla, coffee. Quite sweet with a slight roasted bitterness. Medium to full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Last beer of the day and a decent finisher.
