Bottle shared at the Cotteridge Wines Convention, Vol. III. Cheers! Pours clear, black-brown with a tight, creamy tan head. Odd nose, lightly funky, with vague roasted malts. Medium sweet flavour with further funky poo, dried chocolate, burnt pine. Medium bodied with smooth carbonation. Finishes with light poo, cocoa, low roast. Not bad.

Bottle at Cotteridge Convention 2017. It pours near black with a thick tan head. The aroma is soft, bitter - sweet, fruit cake, jammy berry, orange peel, roasted malt and a touch of sherbet. The taste is bitter, charred wood, rich roasted malt, plum, Dandelion & Burdock, date, chewy malt, light spice and ash. Finish is dry and earthy. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Decent enough black IPA, but lacks the wow factor.

Bottle at CWC III; dark brown pour with a thin light tan head, aroma has coffee and dark chocolate, taste has some citrus hip along with dark roast, some caramel and coffee.

Tried at the 3rd Cotteridge Beer share 2017. The colour is dark reddish brown almost black with an off white head. Aroma roasted malty and herby hop. Taste is light bitter to a dry finish. Full body.

Draught @ Beergeek Bar, Prague. Pours black with a creamy tan head, lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, light licorice, fruity hops, mild citrus, orange peel. Flavor is rather bitter, rich malty, coffee, licorice, rich fruity hops, citrus, grapefruit. Medium body, soft carbonation, dry and light bitter finish. 130417

Bottle shared by Filip himself. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, resinous hops. Taste is resinous, hop oils, creamy, coffee, black chocolate. Medium carbonation. Sticky aftertaste. Very nice Black IPA!

Tap at Zil verne. High bitterness and hops character with maltiness in the background, especially the roasted part. Grassy resiny zesty hops flavours. Well attenuated and very easy drinking. Great beer!

Tap at Zil Verne.Citrus hops, dak malt in aroma. Taste, roasted malt, light coffee, distinct citrus hops with zest, pines. Medium long hoppy bitter finish. Very good.
