Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours deep amber, with fine white foam. Aroma is malty, a little caramel and toffee. Body is average, with moderate carbonation. Taste is moderately sweet. Final is fairly dry.

Pretty cloudy orange amber beer, big solid creamy yellowish to light beige head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty, a little fruity, some citrus, nice caramel touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: malty start, good bitterness, some caramel, a hint of citrus, a bit grassy, very German / Czech impression. Aftertaste: hoppy, grassy, some citrus, malty touch, pretty dry, some biscuits, very pleasant, lovely German style beer! I didn’t identify it as an Altbier though...

Bottiglia. Il naso viene catturato dall'orzo tostato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. La parte liquida appare opalescente. Il colore è ambrato torbido. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è normale e la permanenza è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Sulla lingua si attestano caratteristiche di caramello, miele, frutta secca, pane tostato, un accenno di resinoso ed erbaceo.

Bottle from Pretesto, Bologna. Hazy amber with a stable, foamy, tan head. Aroma of dried apricot & banana, red apple, peanut, cake, hard caramel, sweet tobacco. Taste has sweet maltiness of red apple & banana yet restrained, quite nutty next to a herbal bitterness in a biscuity body. Herbal hoppy finish, vague hint of toast, tobacco & dried fruit over a metallic undertone. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Nice toasty accents here.
