Bottle at Toogoloog Middlekirke dark brown colour lasting beige head. Well yes some malt but quite a light malt quadruple so that alcohol burn is more prominent. There has to be some non fermentables in order to give body and hide the alcohol. This fails. Its too obvious alcohol. Not overly pleasant.

33cl bottle into the correct glass in Den Toogoloog on 23rd October 2024. Dark body, beige topping. Boozy, malty molasses, dark fruits, light hop content. Liked it!

28 August 2021. At Bier van Ollier Festival, Sijsele. Cheers to Anke, mom, dad & Dirk!
Clear brown, small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, raisin, fig, dried tea, brioche, peanut, rainwater. Taste has sweet fig, raisin & pear over caramelly maltiness, some phenolic clove in the back. Herbal hoppy finish, edge of liquorice, dried tea & caramel, warming rum-like alcohol in the throat. Medium body, syrupy texture, average to fizzy carbonation. Enjoyable, easy sipper almost at 10.5% but perhaps a bit too young.
