In our series of sweet pastry stout monsters there is one odd looking chap named Crod. He loves cinnamon churros. His mouth and neck actually extends to chug them all at once. We suggest sipping this one though.

CD 08/09/2021. Black, light brown head. Smells sweet, some vanilla, light cinnamon, bit of roast. Fairly smooth, but could be thicker. Taste is sweet at first, but has a certain bitterness in it. For me too cinnamony, real light vanilla, sugary, watery.

Sample at RB Watford tasting (10/12/2021) - prominent sweet malty with lots of chocolate, fudge, cocoa, molasses, full body, spiced dark sweet malty finish. Good stuff.

Can split at the KristmasKracker Tasting, from HOTM online, Watford 10/12/21. Black with a decent tan covering that clears edgewards. Nose is chocolate, spice, dried fruit rinds, cinnamon, molasses. Taste comprises dark malts, spice, chocolate pot, churros, cinnamon, mellow roast, hint of vanilla. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a spike of alcohol. Decent kit with good spice balance over the sweet edges.

Can shared in Watford - cheers to Cloin. Pours deep brown with a creamy, tan head. Medium to big sweet flavour, notes of cocoa, cinnamon, light spice, light earthy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Mellow warmth to finish, more cocoa and cinnamon, nips of raisins. Enjoyable.

Can shared at the watford Christmas tasting 10/12/2021. Many thanks to Colin for this one. A dark black brown coloured pour with a a halo of mid tan head. Aroma is brown sugars, toasted cinnamon, brandy snap sugars, dark chocolate., vanilla. Flavour is composed of bitter woody cinnamon, dark chocolate, cinnamon, bitter chocolate. Maple. Palate is medium sweet, fine moderate carbonation. Really nice.
