In our series of sweet pastry stout monsters there is one odd looking chap named Crod. He loves cinnamon churros. His mouth and neck actually extends to chug them all at once. We suggest sipping this one though.

Can shared at Ganz. Jet black pour, beige head. Nose is deep rich, sweet malts, lots of cinnamon, dark chocolate, booze and coffee. Taste is sweet, slightly boozy and warming, with a big cinnamon punch and hints of coffee and chocolate. Closes with a long lasting sweet and boozy, cinnamon finish, has a big body and soft carbonation.

Dark brown colour. Mild aroma od cinnamon and chocolate. Medium body, medium sweetness, some chocolate flavour, and subtle spices, a bit of roast in the finish.
Good, not very complex.

440ml @ Alex's shared with Ryan. Appearance: brown with a beige head. Aroma: cinnamon, inky, moderately sweet. Taste: nice body and sweetness, cinnamon just reached the edge of my tolerance. Overall: good for what it is.

Poured from 440mL can (pkg 08/09/2021). Dark brown with minimal beige head. Cinnamon forward with a a bit of fudgey chocolate and some burnt sugars. A bit cinnamon-y, but not bad. Sort of reminds me of a less complex Fremont Rusty Nail.

440mL can, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma is full of burnt sugar, loads of cinnamon churros, and a touch of roast. Flavour is heavily cinnamon-oriented, with lots of burnt sugar, gentle sweetness, and light roast. Nice burnt sugars but there's still too much cinnamon for me. It's pleasant and well-made but not really what I look for in an impie.

Can. Medium brown and a bit murky. Just a thin head. I'm going to spend the entire time drinking this beer wondering what a non-cinnamon churro is. Well this is mostly a stout with chocolatey notes and some cinnamon on the nose. On the palate, plenty of chocolate, a bit of vanilla and a touch of cinnamon. It's pretty straightforward. Wouldn't necessarily go churro specifically. But if you want to convey that, you can do worse than a soft, sweet and really chocolately base beer.

440 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with moderate tan head. Aromas of cinnamon, chai, raisins, nutty chocolate, root beer and soft roasted malts. Flavors of cinnamon pastry, more root beer, sweet dark fruit, and soft roasted malts. Tasty. Interesting.
