Moonbow is The epitome of many a relationship. It starts beautifully, the colour of a burnt golden Arabic sun rise. Swooning you with an exquisite bouquet of sweet tropical fruits, a slick resinous mist of vivacious pine that juggles a dank sticky toffeed sweetness that ultimately descends into a bitter unpredictable end.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers! Aroma of malty hops, citrus, pine, small oranges and slightly herbal. Nice mixture of sweetness and bitterness. Soft carbonation with decent body to it. Nice.

4/3/2022. Can from RAD Beer. Pours slightly hazy orange amber with a large frothy/creamyoff-white head. Aroma is ripe, tropical, grapefruit, mashed fruits, earthy edge. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Oily texture, average carbonation. Nice bittersweet finish. Decent.

Mega walk; Shrewsbury on 11th August 2021. Second stop was the wine bar inside the covered market, while the girls had a bottle of Prosecco I had a 440ml can of this: BB 29th Dec 2021. Clear amber bronze body, off-white head on pouring. Piney and citrussy in nature with a good solid malty base. I really enjoyed this.

Thin off white head left a spotty cover on a translucent copper coloured body. Medium bodied, sharp, short & cloying on the back. Malt, caramel, pine resin & grapefruit tastes with a long bitter tangy finish. Cleansing

440ml can, online from Rad Beer. Pours just off clear golden amber with a white head. Aroma: malt, light pine. Taste: light sweet & light to moderate bitter, citrus, light pine. Medium body with soft carbonation. Needs more west coast punch

On tap at Hops, Crewe. Pours a hazy orange-brown with a small white head and good lacing. A restrained aroma of citrus and oranges. The mouth is dominated by pine and oranges with hints of butterscotch. It’s a bit watery but after a while old school hops start coming through, and they are dominant in the finish. A good solid beer, but not particularly memorable.

440ml can from Everyman's Wines. Pours a misty amber, good off-white head. Aroma has fleeting pine glimpses, seemingly sweet malt. Taste seems a little subdued and deflated for a west coast IPA, pine and bitterness make a brief visit. Ok sipper, disappears quick, but doesn't leave much of an impression.
