A light, golden ale. Ripe, tropical fruitiness on the nose, with a big hoppy taste and a clean, light bitter finish.

Cask at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Clear gold with small white top. This one was zesty with softer fruitiness underneath. Somewhat tangy with malts coming through, good bitterness in finish. Its decent.

Handpull cask at the Salmon, Leicester. Mid- to dark orange/gold with a small uneven white head. Caramel, orange peel, grassy notes in the aroma. Sweet taste followed by gentle bitterness. Moderate amounts of orange, toffee, a little touch of kumquat 8n the aftertaste. Very nice indeed. Medium body, soft carbonation.

Cask at Lych Gate, Wolverhampton. Pours a golden yellow with a small almost white head and good lacing. The aroma is mainly floral hops plus some lemon and generic citrus. In the mouth it starts with a slight bitterness but some sweetness soon becomes apparent, and the two continue to vie for supremacy. Flavour is floral hops and summer fruits plus traces of citrus and lime. Finish is slightly dry. This is quite reasonable.

18/4/2022. Bottle bought direct from the brewery. Pours clear dark golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is sweet, hoppy, buttery, malt, toffee, citrus, grass, grain. Quite heavy sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, slightly oily, average to soft carbonation. Sweet butter popcorn finish. Too sweet and buttery for my liking.
