Bag in Box @ Victoria Tap, Manchester. Golden-amber in colour. Very dry in taste but a good lingering apple from it. Scopey described its nose best so as not to plagerise I defer this aspect to that rating. Apple pie!

Three pints from a box, drank at home on 4th Apr 2020. It's a cider that's been in an Oak Cask. Obviously not the original batch released in 2014 though, this is 8.2% ABV.

75cl bottle. Appearance - golden amber with a nice champagne style pop on open. Gentle bubbles. Nose - apple skins, light hay. Cooking apples. Taste - more cooking apple, apple skins, light wood. Palate - medium bodied with a lean , long and dry middle and finish. Overall - powerful but elegant.

Bottle from Middle Farm Cider Centre. It pours clear very pale yellow with a quickly dissipating fizzy white head. The nose is crazy-good....earthy, funky, barnyard, ripe apple, pear skin, apple pie oak and vanilla. The taste is rather punchy, rustic apple, apple pie, earth, big alcohol hit, chamomile, drying oak and mild astringency with a rather dry finish. Medium body and effervescent carbonation. Brilliant aroma but a bit boozy and drying if truth be told.
