Micro Pale is a brand new low-strength ''table'' Pale Ale. At only 2.8% it's micro in strength but definitely not micro in taste! We've packed it with Cascade and Vic Secret hops so it's bursting with flavours of grapefruit and citrus.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 9th October 2020. Thickly hazy amber with shallow off-white foam and full lacing. Spicy and grassy aromas. Grassy hoppiness in-mouth and a lasting grassy herby finish blended with nuttiness and hints of citrus. Plenty of body for its strength and an engaging texture.

330ml bottle - Pours a clear pale gold colour with a small frothy white head that settled. Aroma is light grainy, straw with grassy and some vegetable notes. A moderately sweet taste, bready and grainy malt flavours with some citrus and grassy hop bitterness in a crisp drying finish.

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from a shop in Stoke Newington. Pours mostly clear yellow-gold with a frothy, pure white head. Really enjoyable for the strength, some nice and clean pale bread, light lemon rind, pine needles, grapefruit. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Finishes with further bready pale malts, rindy citrus bitterness. Yeah, could drink a whole bunch of this.

[33cl bottle from Beer52.] A clear pale amber pour with a fast fading white head leaving a rather flat appearance; grassy citrus aroma; similar taste with some dry biscuity malts; and a chewy grapefruit finish. Pretty good.

Bottle at picked up from Waitrose. Bottle gushed a bit. A clear dull golden coloured pour with a lasting thin white head. Aroma is light straw, hay, grassy hop, light veg. Flavour is composed of light earthy grains, straw, grass, some flint, dried citrus, chalk. Palate is thin, highish carbonation, prickly. Passable.
