Clear golden color with a fine white head. This one had a strange phenol aroma at start. Thank god it vanished after a while. Otherwise this would have been undrinkable. Malty, citric and fruity ale. Medium body and a soft to average carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness.

Bottle at home. Clear golden/ light orange coloured pour with big off white frothy white head. Aroma is grassy grapefruit skin, lime, metalic, biscuity malts. Flavour is composed of grainy biscuity malts, grassy citrus, leaves, little metalic in the finish. Palate is medium light bodies, grainy, little hop resin on the tongue. Assertive slightly rough grassy bitterness. Good UK IPA.

Dorada clara, espuma normal. Aroma frutal y en boca lo que cabe esperar de una buena IPA: mucho sabor lupulado, melocoton, naranja y uva. Final muy amargo caracteristico aunque quizas menos que en otras. Perdura en cualquier caso. Muy buena.

500ml bottle. Copper coloured, thin head, pine, hints of orange. Once upon a time I found this very hoppy. Not any more, I’ve learned more, but this is still a decent ipa

Bottle from the Blue Glass, Bedford. Yellow gold, small wispy white head with a reasonable amount of carbonation. Muddled but pleasant aroma: grain, citrus, buttered toast. The taste however is a step up: sweet and juicy with a bitter/savoury backbone. Lovely balance. This isn’t an IPA but it’s a good beer nevertheless.

Bottle from Tesco. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The nose is fresh, fruity, citrus and sweet doughy notes. The taste is crisp, bitter, straw, lemony, grapefruit, pepper and some sweet dough with a lingering bitter-dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty easy going and drinkable.
