500ml bottle: BB 29th Dec 18. Drank in my garden on 1st Oct 18. Clear golden body, full white crown (at first). Fairly sweet with a malty front, mildly dry in the finish. First beer in a mini tasting with the wife, seven bottles brought back from a German road trip.

0.5l bottle from kaisers in charlottenburg/wilmersdorfer arkaden.
pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head and some lacing. aroma of grains and some grass. flavour of grass, hay, bread, alcohol. a bit harsh and watery; i like my helles with an oilier mouthfeel.

Golden colour with a white head. Taste is mild sweet, with a very low hop presence.

500ml bottle. Clear pale golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy aroma, a touch of hay. Taste is grainy, some grassy hop. Absolutely boring.

Bottle. Soft fruit and bready hop aroma. Medium gold with a thin head. Mild sweet malts with some spice. Finish is sweet.

50 cL bottle. Pours pale and clear yellow with a huge white head. Light grassy aroma. Light mouldy flavoured and flat malty. Minor if no bitterness. Light spiced though. Ends flat and boring.

Bottle, 5.3%. Weak buttery aroma. Clear shiny yellow colour. Big stable white head. Spicy bread flavour, rye and cardamum. Medium bitterness.
