Keg at Crafty Merlins, Darlington. Gluten Free. Clear golden colour, white foam head and aroma of malt, grain. Taste is malty, grainy, tangy, biscuit, with earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite OK.

500ml bottle as Hambleton Session Pale, bought at CO-OP, University union, Leeds. Good looking with a clear golden body, remaining white head and rings of lace down the glassware. Leafy hops on the nose, hints of ripe citrus as well. Balanced flavours of grass, leafy hops, ripe citrus, and a biscuit touch. Mid-bitter ending. Well crafted for the low abv. Like it. (Student flat, Leeds 06.07.2022).

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 12 Feb 2022) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, green apples, tea and fresh resiny hops. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grass, green apples, fresh leafy hops and a balanced resiny bitterness. Light body, dry. Tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.

Bottle from Aldi Supermarket, Keighley. Golden with a small frothy head. Bland hoppy tasting ale with a few soapy malts in both aroma and taste.

500ml bottle; BB Apr 2019. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home on 5th July 2018. Poured a clear and bright light golden colour, white head that hung around. Nose held a subtle citrus leaning, as did the taste, refreshing enough, but lacks depth of flavour and body; even if it's only a pale session ale.
