Mooch tasting; 12.4% ABV
Amber colour, unclear, some particles (floaties), some haze. Some caramel and alcohol in the aroma, kind of mild though, light parmesan. Full body, moderately sweet; quite good malt and caramel flavour, the Eis-ing process may have concentrated this beer but didn't add unwanted flavours as happens elsewhere; quite strong alcohol in the finish.
Very good extreme Barley Wine.

Medium amber, with a slight haze. This is a bit oxidized, stalish malt, with a fair amount of bitterness. It's decent, but maybe a bit hot.

330mL bottle, pours a clear caramel colour with a small bege head. Aroma brings out lots of caramel, alcohol, bready malt, and lager yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, with caramel, bready malt, alcohol and lager yeast. Caramel and bready on the finish, with plenty of alcohol, but tastefully so. Good stuff.

Bottle at L6, thanks to LKS. It pours deep orange - amber with a thick, white head. The aroma is earthy, oily, sticky, orange sponge cake, muffin, earth, spice, metallic and some almond. The taste is slick, oily, warming alcohol, fruit cake, honey, tangy, juicy, toffee, bit of spice, wood and booze with a slick mouth - feel. Medium - full body and fine, foamy carbonation. Fun stuff.
