Quite rare US hop variety! Simcoe Pale Ale has flavours of grapefruit, passionfruit and pine in the taste and aroma.

Cask @ Record Cafe, Bradford. Clear golden with a thick creamy head. It's clean tasting and hoppy with a light tangy-sweet tropical fruitiness. There's good water used in this.

9th July 2017: Sunday afternoon cask pint in ’Staggs Bar’ Musselburgh, first beer of the day. Clear light golden body, on top a long lasting white crown. Tropical fruits in both the nose and taste, slight herbal presence too. Bitter towards the finish of each sip and more citrusy as it warmed in the glass (pity about the citrusy flavour).

Cask, Shakespeare’s, Sheffield. Clear, pale gold. Bubbly, lasting, white head, that leaves none of the glass uncovered as it goes down. Lovely fresh hop to this. Notes of peach melba and passion fruit. Some pine needle. Lightly minty and herbal. Squeezed hop juice! Taste has a light, grainy sweetness, with an oily, hop laden bitterness. Light body. Super easy drinking. Long, lightly resinous, fruity bitter finish. North Riding knocking it out the park again.
