[50cl bottle from Longacres, Bagshot.] A bright copper pour with a tight white head; hedgerow hop aroma; caramel taste with some jammy fruit; and a nicely hopped finish. A straightforward English bitter.

Bottle from Asda, Telford. Copper-gold with no head. It's a tad malty, but it's aptly named as its hops are evident, and it certainly is a bitter in style. There's a bready-sweetness to proceedings with plenty of taste here.

500ml bottle. Pours dark orange brown with a medium head. Aroma is bready, some dried fruits and boiled sweets. Taste has dried fruits to start and a bready medium bitter finish.

500ml bottle into a pint glass tankard on 31st Dec 2015 during an English tasting session I had with myself. Good mahogany body but no head at all, pity. Pleasant hoppy feel to the brew with a good malt base to counter the bitterness: liked it. Semi-sweet from malty molasses and bitter from the hop content, well put together blend if slightly unbalanced and a little too sweet for some palates (not mine).

An amber beer with a hoppy aroma. There’s a mild, sweet flavour but it’s a touch on the bland side.
