A golden premium ale, brewed from British Maris Otter and wheat malts. Robust, full-bodied and with a slight honey sweetness on the palate. Moderately hopped for bitterness, but with large quantities of British grown Admiral and First Gold varieties to give a floral and fruity aroma with hints of mandarin and spice.

2nd November 2015: hand-pulled pint in The Eagle, Boston Lincolnshire. Golden amber bodied brew with an off-white head. Decent blend with a mild citrus finish in the flavour. Not a lot going on, but nothing wrong with the beer either, just a little ’the same’ as so many UK Bitters currently.

Huddersfield Oktoberfest 2015. Tawny golden coloured. Mildly fruity in its character, but there’s a hop-malt balance in here too. Quite malty in its nose.
