Cask at the Wellington; clear golden yellow pour with a bubbly white head, aroma has citrus, pine and light spice, taste has pine, bitter grapefruit, some citrus action, sweet malts.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a creamy head. Smooth textured ale with an ever so slightly stewed tropical fruitiness. Lots of hops.

Hand-pulled cask half-pint at the All Nations (Madeley, Telford): lunchtime and I was driving otherwise I would have got ’minced’ on this. Light golden pour with a smooth white blanket of foam on top. Floral, piny, spicy and peppery in both the nose and flavouring. Hops all the way on this uber hop mix brew. The bitterness is tempered by the different flavours each hop brings to the table, I really liked this and will certainly have it again should our paths cross.
