500ml bottle, part of a three beer gift set I bought during a sale at a garden centre: BBD end of Oct, drank on 15th Nov 15, just out of date. Poured at home at my Pre-Christmas Beer tasting night: shared with no one. very slight haze to the golden body, on top a blanket of even white foam. Fruity and fairly sweet nose, the taste also fruit laden and sweet, mild bitterness in the drying finish. A lot better than I expected to be honest. Nice little beer.

50cl bottle from Longacres, Windlesham. No sign, on the bottle or in the bottle, that this is bottle conditioned. Pale amber with a thin white head; grainy aroma - like a Polish lager; in the mouth there’s a really thick grainy texture, and some honey and citrus; before a dry finish. This would make a good summer beer - not too sure about the Christmas theme though.

500ml bottle - Part of a gift set, this pours a nice clear golden, with a healthy bit of carbonation giving a thin white head. Nose is quite sweet, bit of toffee apple in there, with some lighter fruity notes hidden at the back. The taste is quite thin, an initial fresh kick of grassiness is soon gone, a short bitter-sweet finish. I guess this one would make an ideal summer brew... but Christmas? Not really.
