Clear and golden with a frothy white head and a cereal malt and mellow fruit aroma. Light bodied, light cereal malt with some sweet fruity notes, mild citrus bitterness and a dry finish.

Handpull cask at the Salmon, Leicester. Golden yellow, clear with an impressive white head. Light citrus and hay aroma, buoyed up by leafy hop. Buttery stale taste with some hop astringency in the finish. Soft carbonation. In perfect condition but... not a great beer.

Hand-pulled pint in The Pheasant, Admaston Shropshire on 8th Nov 2014. Not in good condition, or it is supposed to taste a little sour and musty? Looked fine, clear gold with a white head that hung around for a while. Sadly it went down hill from there. End of the barrel sort of feel to the nose and flavour. Will rate again if I ever see it again. Rated kindly!

Cask at The Thorn Tree, Waingrove, nr Ripley, Derbyshire 11.05.12 This beer was something of a comedown after the Summerwine Upstream, Coastal Cascade and Coastal West Coast IPA. I had this on the Friday night and it just lacked a real hoppiness and zest, very, very slight butteriness to this (but not significant). This is a touch thin and watery, there isn’t anything significantly wrong with it and as a beer you could sup without thinking about it then it would be fine. but sometimes you yearn for a beer that it either hoppy, malty, bitter, crisp, dry, full bodied etc sadly this didn’t hit anything of significance to make me yearn for another.
