Brewed in association with the RSPB to help Bittern conservation. Butter Bump is an old English name for the Bittern. Brewed using First Gold – an English Hedgerow Hop, Chinook & Cascade Hops to create a pale golden coloured beer with a slight bitterness on the palate and a grapefruit/citrusy aroma.

Cask @ Regal Moon, Rochdale. Bright golden yellow with a thin head. Light malts with a medium bitterness that lingers in the back of the palate. Some hops in its aroma.

Hand-pulled pint in The Station, Oakengates on 6th May 2014. True golden body with a white crown. Hop lead with an undertone of citrus notes in the nose, these become less prominent in the taste as the malts come into play a little. Decent enough, if a bit pedestrian.
