The first beer in a four beer paddle at the Back Bay Tavern inside Wholefoods, Newport Beach on 13th March 2014. Fizzy amber body with a creamy head that gave off some good lacing. I thought this was a very good US version of a UK Keg beer, a pleasant blend of flavours and easy to drink, well done you guys. Fairly smooth and with enough about it to ’ sit back and think of England’, nicely balanced with nothing aggressive or contrived, just a fine brew.

Draft at the taproom. Cheers to the CA crew for this one. Pours hazy amber with a white cream head. The nose has hints of chalky cocoa. Nice flavor, some bread, light dry cocoa, faint ripe citrus fruits. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Balanced finish with notes of toasted malts and ripe citrus. Decent.
