330 ml bottle. Unclear amber, big foamy head. Caramel, toffee, pine, hoppy notes, citrus, maple syrup, brown sugar. Malty sweetness, hoppy bitterness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry sweetish finish. Okay IPL, however a bit too malty and sweet.

Bottle, 7.5%. Good malty and caramelly aroma. Cloudy dark amber colour. Very big stable tan head. The flavour is caramelly with a hint of urinal tab. Perfumy aroma hop with a teaish finish. Good alcohol level in the finish along with a cleansing bitterness. Not what I consider a hoppy lager, but good.

Bottle. Pours hazy darkish amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of hops, with notes of malt and yeast and touches of fruit. Bitter, hoppy and grassy flavour with fruity and malty notes and estery touches. Lingering bitter, hoppy and grassy aftertaste with estery notes. Warming alcohol presence. Decent.

Dark amber with a lasting off-white head. Bready malt aroma with a touch of pine. Sweet malty flavour with bread and toffee, hints of grass and pine and a light bitter finish.

Bottle (Great Garching Gift!): Deep golden, hazy, stable and creamy off-white head, distinctive spicy flowery to piney nose, some yeasty fruitiness underneath; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, soft and medium bodied; lingering and smooth hoppy finish with certain sweet counterweight. No reason to cry! A fine hoppy brew...

Aroma is honey herbs forest some bonbon. Taste is sweet honey with some tart herbal accents. Well balanced. A bit sweet and heavy oily. Good stuff.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, amber to copper colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Grassy and earthy hoppy aroma with resiny and ethereally spots, backed by mildly cara-malty accents. Mildly bitter and slightly sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly caramelly malty base with notes of oak honey and present earthy, grassy and herbal-spicy hops; leading into a quite rounded, although a tad slim bitter-sweet finish. Nice one. 24.IX.16
