Hand-pulled half pint at the 2012 Shrewsbury Beer Festival on 1st Nov). Light amber with a thin white head. Fruity from the off: I think the reciept may have changed from the last time this was brewed because the fest tasting notes mention Lager Malts and First Gold Hops, where as Cascade Hops are noted in the 2009 version. This is a malt led brew with a dry hop finish, light in everything though, it is fruity but you have to reach for the flavours, they donโt leap out at you. An OK beer, but Iโd have liked some more โumphโ in everything.

Spoons Fest. Clear amber beer. Dry palate, a little soft. Dry and slightly bitter malt and the pleasant red fruits - subtle raspberry and strawberry on the back of the tongue. More dry bitterish malty follows with a trace of hop. A little unusual, less dryness would have elevated this. Enjoyable nontheless.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol 5/11/09. Golden in colour with a decent white head. Sweetish grain aroma, with some grassy hops and apricots. Aorma of sweet, cereal malts, with more fruit, grassy hops and a dry finish. Good.
