Cask at the standing order. Pours clear amber, thin bubbly white head. Light red fruit aromas, nutty, but faint. Light spice on the taste, no real citrus as promised. Thin finish.

On cask at the Standing Order. Appearance - a nice amber to red. Nice head. Nose - biscuits and light red fruit. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet dry texture and a long dry finish. Overall - good. Reminds me of Black Isle Red Kite.

Retro reviews from Spring 2012 Wetherspoons Beer festival; This is more like it maybe it has something to do with the new world hops used but has just the right balance between citrusy hops and malts.

Lovely looking beer: hand-pulled pint in my local Wetherspoons on 31st March 2012. Red hue to the brew, deep amber really though: creamy head in texture and colour. Mixed bag of smells in the aroma: malts and hop joining to give a pleasant beery feel with the hops just about stronger. The taste is also an easy blend of flavours; this time the malts leading the way in strength and power. A hop dryness appears towards the end of each sip (Cascade, Challenger and Chinook hops used). Easy drinking beer.

Weak and watery texture, but has a solid aroma and subtle berry based bitterness.
