The last in a surprisingly fair afternoon of beer hunting in Whitchurch, a place unknown to me before today. This beer too is now known and is a pleasantly hopped easy-drinking beer, its water feels good in the palate, compliments the Citra hop well and light sweetened tropical fruits are evident in both aroma and taste.

Cask at Tapps, Llandudno. Aroma is predominantly malty with an almost hazy citrus element. Clear copper gold. Creamy white head. Flavourwise it's Light-medium bitter. Citrus and quinine. Sweet fruity hints nto the finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. A trad brewery playing with US hops. Easy drinking and inoffensive but the hops just feel underutilised.

Hand pulled half pint in the Crazy Dragon (Whitchurch) on 23rd May 2025. Golden pour, white crown. Citra hops doing their thing here, not much else to say really.

Handpull cask from the Salmon, Leicester. Mid-gold and clear with a full creamy off-white/beige head. Slightly metallic/astringent aroma with white grapefruit pith, leafy hop, notes of caramel, some soap. Sweetish but slightly tangy taste, with hoppy bitterness on the tongue near the finish. Light oily body, soft carbonation. Not exemplary.

500ml bottle from Everyman's. Clear gold pour with good white froth. Lovely soothing sweet citrus, leafy pine, floral with excellent balance and a sweetness that doesn't wane easily. Great seshy stuff
