Stone Enjoy By 10.31.23 Hazy IPA is here to haunt your beer fridge with a hazy look and a heavy helping of Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo and Nelson Sauvin hops. But the refreshing dryness and huge tropical fruit flavors in this double IPA are nothing to be afraid of. The only thing that would truly be terrifying is missing out on this frighteningly fresh creation…

Pours hazy orange and has a hoppy tropical fruit aroma. The flavor is mild to moderately bitter with tropical fruit and resin. Malty. Medium bodied. Drank when it was a bit old but it was still quite good.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clearish deep gold with a full fingers of off-white head that lingers. Candied orange, pineapple and mango aromas on the nose. More of the same on the palate with pithy bitterness and lingering citrus. Warming alcohol on the finish, but nice classic west coast notes.

12oz Can pours out a foggy dull orange with a thin stickey off-white head. Tropical candy hop aromas and flavors. Some over ripe apricot and other caramelized tropical fruit notes. Smooth and low carbbed.

Checked the website—this pint is a different recipe than the 4.20.21 hazy IPA from earlier this year. This batch is stronger and fruitier, wading much further into that familiar Stone fruit punch hop profile, with a good bit of candied citrus zest thrown in. Big and burly and not all that hazy, but delicious.

Not bad, exceptionally bitter for the style, offering up notes of pineapple, mandarin, peach, lime zest, pine, and a touch of honey mustard and onion. Not the best Enjoy By variant, but drinkable.

On tap at the Watering Hole in Murphys. May 1 - so a bit past the date but I still enjoyed it. Massive dank and fruit, well balanced. Hazy yellow with full white head. Flavor is complex with dank, resins and citrus fruit.

Bottle - a few days past the enjoy by date - my local store put this on super sale after the 4/20 date - win! - this shit is dank as fuck - it has the flavor profile and intense bitterness you expect from a traditional west coast dipa rather than a hazy, which is just fine with me - citrus, pine, herbal notes, pepper - tropical finish - I actually really dig it.

Bottle. 4.20.21. Pours quite hazy orange, medium off-white head, decent residual and lacing. Aroma is earthy perfume, dankness, pine resin, chive. Flavor is light plus sweet, medium bitter. Medium body, silky mouthfeel. Lingering bitterness. This is a hazy only in terms of clarity. It is a far cry from a NEIPA, and it is frankly a refreshing change.
