7th March 2020 Can. Very hazy gold beer, decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry and has a good fine minerally crispness. Sweet malts, a thin malt cream, but undeniably sweet. Smooth pine into a savoury and slightly bitter hop skunk. Juicy hop fruits emerge from the hop skunk bite, floral spicy tangerine along with a little semi ripe mango. I get the mild spearmint vibe from the meridian hops, tropical fruits and decent citrus are obvious, berry fruits? Not really! Some mild citric peel bitterness on on the fairly smooth finish. Belma strawberry? In there if you are looking for it. Savoury skunky linger, with some nibbly hop spice. Good but was expecting even more with this hop profile.

Time for serious beers. A lovely whale IPA, and basically all you'd expect from them. Very solid, nicely juicy, pretty fruity. Sweet and hoppy, peach, orange, apricot. Nice mouthfeel. Just a very good modern IPA, no more, no less.

Taste comprises ripe tropical fruits, weed, pine resin, papaya, light dextrose, grass, light hop spice tickle.
