440ml Can - Murky light orange. Orange, herbs, peach and hop resins in the aroma. Herbal and fruity taste, slightly resinous, with notes of peach, orange and mandarin. Slightly earthy finish.

Keg draught at the Queens Road Tap, Leicester. Dark gold and clear with a slight off-white head. It's a slight aroma, I'm getting some peach and apricot and some sweet iced tea. Tastes notably bitter with more stone fruit and a suggestion of white pepper. Long, butter finish with berry and stone fruit. Medium to full body, heavy carbonation. An interesting beer but it grows on me.

From can in too of Richmond Lock 14.05.21 with Terje and Jon Einar while waiting for the tidal gates to close. Very tasty, with bitter pine shoots, grapefruit and pale malt.

Can. Just a light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, fairly dry and has a good fine crispness. Light malts, a light creamy sweetness. The Brit hops (unfortunately not detailed) bring a rich generic and slightly floral fruity vibe. Apricot in there for sure along with soft pine and a decent pinch of hop spice. Touch of limey citrus on the back end. Having just drunk the Ernest and Emperor hopped IPAs, I am going to say both of those are here along with some Jester and probably more. Light dry spicy hop finish. Good stuff. Thank you Buxton for showcasing the much underrated UK hops.
