Gravicask at The 14th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival, Marquee Bar A. Shared with Finn on the first day of the festival. Bright amber body, lacing rings down the glass, covering off-white head. Quite inviting smell of leafy hops, dry. Flavoured with ripe citrus and mid-sweet malts. Malt-fruity ending, bittersweet. Quite alright. (Nottingham 12.10.2022).

Wetherspoon Spring Beer Festival 2022. Cask @ Regal Moon, Rochdale. Golden with a creamy head. It has a strong tasting hoppiness with lots of floralness to in both aroma and taste. This dominates its aftertaste.

Hand-pulled third of a pint in The Picture House (a Spoons in Stafford) on 8th April 2022. Golden body, white head that lasted. Mild citrussy nose and taste, semi-bitter overall, lacked depth of flavour for me though.

Cask at Richard John Blackler, Liverpool. Pours a golden amber wih a small white head and good lacing. Not much of a aroma – just some oranges faintly. In the mouth it is bitter and hoppy with grains and corn, plus oranges and some grapefruit lending a fruity air. Finish however, is the sticky bitter lemon / citrus which clings to the tongue and makes me want to throw up ! Too citrussy for my liking.

Cask at the moon under water Watford Jdw. A clear golden orange coloured pour with a a loose white head. Aroma is subdued, nutty malts, piney hop, soap. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, sticky hop, sap, bark, assertive bitterness. Cif lemon, grapefruit. Little harsh. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, decent cask condition. Ok.

[Cask at the Claude du Vall (JDW), Camberley.] A hazy pale amber pour with a scummy looking cream head; orangey aroma; thick and syrupy in the mouth with a muddled fruity taste; and a chewy bitter marmalade finish.
