deep fiery red color. Stewed oranges, apples and cherries with some caramel malt and spicy hops in the nose. Great depth. Modestly aggressive bitterness, light body, excellent malt backbone. Very hoppy bitter red lager, excellent depth and complexity.

Deep red. Lovely looking beer. Malty with a bit of red fruit tang. Medium bodied. Finish has a lingering tangy finish. Interesting.
Lovely stuff. Malty and lightly funky. Interesting and very nice.

Bottle from the brewery in the Autumn set. Bright Centennial hop nose, citrus, leaves, herbs, pine, mint, licorice. Rich malt, chocolate and caramel notes. Deep reddish brown with a tall, airy, off-white head. Lovely malt flavor, toast, caramel, brown bread, chocolate, plus herbal and fruity hops. Resins, mint, licorice. This is quite lovely indeed. A pretty shocking red lager, although more of a dunkel than anything else. nicely bitter finish with pine and mint.

Baeren Innovation Red Lager 1: Centennial Crack the bottle and on first whiff mint herbal pine hop aromas - it had me thinking red IPA. In the glass, biscuit and caramel joined the hops. The medium to full bodied beer is quite smooth and satisfying. Good stuff.
