Taking inspiration from our flagship beer, The Porter, we wanted to brew a truly sessionable London Porter.
What better way to create an effortlessly drinkable dark beer than to make it nitro. The resulting creaminess and smooth mouthfeel balance perfectly with the subtle roasted notes of coffee and chocolate.
The beer brings together the rich history and heritage of London Porters, with the modern techniques of brewing nitro beers. The result is a beer that is easy drinking, without sacrificing its character.

Can for me birthday. Pours nice deep brown-black, slightly thin beige head for a nitro. Nose of porridge, butterscotch, nuts, cream. Medium sweetness, light-medium roast bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel, medium body. Decent porter, not far off a Murphy's.

440ml Can - Black in colour. Coffee, roasted malt and some earthy notes can be detected in both the aroma and the taste. Rich for the abv. Coffee grounds in the finish.

Draft @ Bucks Head, London. Black with a beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate and some espresso. Taste of mousse au chocolate, cocoa, dark chocolate, roasted malts and coffee with a somewhat dry finish. Low bitterness. Low carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel. Very balanced and süffig. Brilliant.

From can at Remko's Bierproefavond. Didn't take notes, just enjoyed nice beers and good company. What I do remember: Roasted malt, coffee, smooth.
