Can picked up by the missus from Home Bargains. £1.19! I mean it’s going to have to be shite to not be at least worth that. And it’s not. Far from it. Bit of a haze on a straw gold. Decent white foam. Crisp overall. Light hop bitterness. Sinks easy. Nice malts. Clean finish.

Can at the inlaws in Broadstairs, thanks to Sharon for picking up from said branch of Home Bargains, 02/10/2025.
Almost clear golden topped with a lasting white cap that subsides to a swirl in time.
Nose is pale and bready malts, light floral nip, herb, hedgerow.
Taste comprises pale malts, bready pangs, straw, lemon tingle, herb.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Decent enough Logger-Bier.

Can from local Home Bargains store – drank at home. Pours golden yellow with a small, transient, frothy off-white head. There’s a bit of an off-putting aroma of malts and herbs mixed with boiled cabbage. In the mouth it is quite sweet but with a little underlying sharpness. Flavour has malts, floral hops, honey and hints of herbs and teacake. Finish is quite dry. This is decent – better than expected.

Can from Lidl as part of their beer festival. Pours a clear gold with small quickly receding head. Aroma of sweet malts, grains, honey, light floral note. There is a certain crispness to this with lingering honey note and sweetness although not overbearing despite mild bitterness. Good light to medium body, quite smooth. Nice.

440ml can from Home Bargains. Pale gold in colour, with a slight, white, head. Sweetish, ripe malt aroma with a herbal edge. Flavour had more of the maltiness, a mineral edge, some sweetness before a moderately bitter finish. Decent.

[33cl can from Home Bargains, Bracknell.] An amber pour with a fast fading white head; aroma of noble hops and honey; honeyed taste with a grainy body; and lingering honey to finish. Not what I was expecting.

440ml can from Home Bargains. It pours lightly hazy yellow with a decent frothy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, honeyed grain, doughy bread, sponge cake, custard cream biscuits and sweet fatty / buttery vibes. The taste is crisp & dry upfront, snappy, some bitterness, green, grassy, straw, some sweet maltiness, sponge cake, biscuit, cracker, spice and floral accents with a very firm and drying finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. Much sweeter on the snout than taste. Pretty decent for the style.

Tight white head stayed on finely carbonated pale amber coloured body. Tobacco, burnt & malt aroma. Medium to thin bodied, smooth with a lively clean back. Nutty, biscuit, grainy, tobacco & bitter tastes with a lightly hopped finish. Decent Lager.

Can from Lidl Supermarket, Todmorden. Clear golden with a small head. Mid-malty ale, its taste doesn't get much beyond that.
