Witness is a bretted Belgian pale ale drawing inspiration from the Trappist Monasteries. Combining the classic Bastonge yeast (from Orval) and then both Brettanomyces Bruxellensis and Brettanomyces Clausenii to condition this beer will be hoppy and fragrant fresh but will also age gracefully like it's traditional predecessors, building complexity in the bottle.

On tap at Brewdog Shepherds Bush. Aroma is a little funky with notes of honey and vanilla. Flavour has the same honey notes but with a nice sour note. Extremely delicate and extremely good.

Keg tap at the Draft House, Hammersmith. Mid-gold, very clear with a modest ring of white head. Gentle aroma of honeyed toast, berries and kumquat peel. The taste, wow. Incredibly bitter. Getting a fair bit more of the Brett here. Intense bitterness bordering on acrid in the finish, but it works. Well made but not really my cup of tea.

On tap at Wild Beer, Wapping WHarf, Bristol 10/8/2016. Golden in colour with a slight haze and decent, white, head. A touch of leafy hop, tangerine and apricot fruit, some Brett character, biscuity malts, and pleasantly bitter finish. Very good.

330ml bottle. Golden colour, white foam head and fruity funky aroma. Taste is grains, fruity, with some barnyard funk, sourish citric notes and lingering bitterness. Light bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Light body fruity. Good brett character a good funkiness but body is a bit too light. Good stuff could be a bit funkier

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - cloudy orange with a decent head. Nose - creamy Brett and light orange. Taste - Brett yeast and light citrus but it’s well hidden. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - the Brett is a bit too dominant to allow the other flavours to come through.
